Installation of JRescuer and JUne
- JUne is a graphical tool to recover deleted files from a JFS volume
- JRescuer is a command line tool (text mode) to recover damaged JFS volumes
You need to unzip the downloaded ZIP file to a directory on a USB key or other hard disk partition. Do not unzip to the paritition or disk from which you are trying to recover information.
Registration
To unlock the full functionality of both JUne and Jrescuer you must place the key file you received by email in the directory where you unzipped the downloaded ZIP file. The key file must be renamed to:
JRescuer.key
