Panorama Video Driver Package version 1.10 released

Arca Noae is pleased to announce the immediate availability of our Panorama Video Driver Package for OS/2 and eComStation version 1.10.

This is a maintenance release containing minor installer and screen object enhancements. This update is not critical but will bring Panorama in your system up-to-date with the recently released version of ArcaOS. If you have ArcaOS version 5.0.2 then you already have this update.

If you are still running OS/2 and/or eComStation systems and haven’t yet purchased a software subscription, this is a great reason to do so now. It may also be a good time to consider moving up to ArcaOS.

Panorama Video Driver Package version 1.09 released

Arca Noae is pleased to announce the immediate availability of our Panorama Video Driver Package for OS/2 and eComStation version 1.09.

This is a maintenance release containing the following changes:

  • Fixes a problem validating the EDID information from older monitors.
  • Added a Custom Resolutions page to the screen setup object.

Panorama Video Driver Package version 1.08 released

Arca Noae is pleased to announce the immediate availability of our Panorama Video Driver Package for OS/2 and eComStation version 1.08.

This is a maintenance release containing the following changes:

  • Removed some WarpIN installer restrictions.
  • Added setup WPS class to package.
  • Enhanced UseNativeRes functionality.
  • Fixed installer to work on ArcaOS installations.
  • Added test so that driver will not report resolutions or attempt
    to use video memory above that reported by the BIOS.

This release is exactly the same driver that is included in ArcaOS 5.0. If you recently purchased a license for ArcaOS 5.0, it is not necessary to download and install this package — you already have it.

Arca Noae licenses source code for SNAP Graphics for OS/2

Arca Noae, LLC, a Delaware-based Limited Liability Company, is excited to announce that they have reached an agreement with Alt Richmond, Inc. to license the source code for SNAP Graphics for OS/2.

Coupled with the amazing talent associated with the Company, this puts Arca Noae in a unique position to bring SNAP to the next level of capability to support modern chipsets with full graphics hardware acceleration.

“We have a team in place and ready to begin work,” said Lewis Rosenthal, Managing Member of Arca Noae. “There is a hot list of items needing attention – fixes – and a growing list of chipsets to add to SNAP’s repertoire.”

It is Arca Noae’s intention to release an updated version of SNAP Graphics for OS/2 in the near future.
